Magic (Initial Stages)

This is my page dedicated to the force of magic.

I found this topic interesting as it covers a large area of possible ideas. From the idea of Magic I have made a few experimental pieces based upon magic.


Contact Sheet for First Magic Experiment

My first idea for an experiment was to make a stop-frame animation of me casting a spell.
I started by taking pictures in a sequence for the stop-frame.

I then took the pictures into flash, put them in order and added various effects using flash.

The animation was kept short and simple, yet still looked interesting.

This was the final Result.


I thought that the video turned out well although I felt that the combined 'Magic Energy' would have looked better being crushed by the hands rather than just overlaying.

I have enjoyed working with the idea of magic and I think I will continue to use this idea as it has been my favourite topic of 'Force'.
