Initial Research
Shepard Fairy Experiment
For an experiment, I decided to make my own poster style image, using the techniques of Shepard Fairy.
To start with a got a basic Head Shot of myself.
Next I cut myself out from the image and pasted myself on a blank black background.
From there I used a filter called "CutOut". This made the image look more along the lines of shepards work. However at this point it was still basic Image and didn't really have the whole Shepard Fairy colours. I decided to then add blue and red to various parts of the Image.
Lastly I added an inspirational word at the bottom of the image. This made it some much more powerful as a piece of art.
I feel this piece came out well. Shepard Fairy is one of the artists that I will likely refer to when it comes to my final piece.
